Fabiola Annacondia appointed member of the VAT Expert Group of the European Commission
It has been announced in the Official Journal of the European Union that Fabiola Annacondia, IBFD Principal VAT Specialist, has been appointed as a member of the EU VAT Expert Group. This appointment is for 3 years, starting on 1 October 2022.
The EU VAT Expert Group assists and advises the European Commission on VAT matters. The group is composed of highly select individuals, who are experts in the area of VAT and organisations representing in particular businesses and tax practitioners, which can assist in the development and implementation of VAT policies.
Belema Obuoforibo, Director, IBFD Knowledge Centre, comments “We’d like to extend our congratulations to Fabiola on this achievement! This appointment is an affirmation of Fabiola's high standing in the VAT world”.
