The Centre for Studies of African Taxation (CSAT) is delighted to be Gold Sponsors of this year’s International Conference on Taxation hosted by the Department of Taxation at the University of Pretoria in South Africa: “Distributive Tax Justice in the Global Economy”.

On 11 July 2023, 138 members of the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS), representing over 90% of global GDP, agreed upon an Outcome Statement.

On 24-26 May 2023, the Africa Tax Symposium (ATS) saw us returning to a physical event, held in the warm and vibrant city of Arusha, Tanzania. It was great to see so many new and old friends returning to the ATS, and it was clear everyone was happy to meet in person.
