This overview highlights the Commission’s (i) adoption of DAC8 to cover cryptoassets; (ii) clarification on mutual assistance under the Recovery Directive for claims under EUR 1,500; (iii) report evaluating Directives on Administrative Cooperation; (iv) approval of Swedish tax scheme aimed at promoting the usage of sustainable biofuels; and (v) approval of the prolongation of the Swedish scheme to refund taxes and social security contributions to employers of seafarers.
