As borders remain closed and countries continue to battle COVID-19, tax policies remain focused on supporting domestic economies. In the same vein, South Korea has proposed a number of income tax and VAT amendments in a tax revision bill aimed at promoting new industries, improving the tax base and a more efficient tax administration to ease the collection of revenue.
